Also known as consumer DSLR or semi-pro cameras, these entry level digital cameras are ideal for beginners. If you’re unsure about photography, it is always a good idea to buy the cheapest DSLR and toy with it for 6 months. Unless money is not an issue, go for the mid range DSLR. Forget about megapixels, go for ISO and FPS.
Note: Salesman loves to recommend Pentax, Samsung or Olympus; they will tell you how wonderful these DSLR are compare to Canon and Nikon. Remember, the reason why they are recommending Pentax is because of the commission, which is usually 3 times higher than Canon or Nikon. I can’t be certain about Sony’s commission.
