Hmm this seems to be some weird FireFox issue where the ZIP file is not overwriting the previous file each time I download it.

Hi, can u create for me 3 column template…?
personally i hate 3 column template, one of the many reason are:
1. they have lots of ads.
2. adsense publisher then to fill both columns with ads.
3. bloggers with 3 columns template tend to remove the credit (link) back to the author of the template.
4. maybe i’ll write one in the near future… maybe. thanks for using these templates. hope you like it.
I like this template thanks for creating it. question re the ‘# comments’ next to the subject of each entry, how can i make the font smaller. I’d like to title to stand out for the subject and minimize the font for the # comments part

Following is the code for the Title and Comment line in your template. i want to make the the “0 Comments” to be smaller than the title so it does not compete with the title of my posts. I think that the problem with comments is in the Blogger options.
I’ve changed “Mostrar la verificación de palabra para comentarios” and “Mostrar imágenes de perfil en los comentarios” to the “NO” option and everything is ok.

I’m using FF and I’ve just installed the K2 template on blogger. I’ve changed the banner and I want to delete the blogtitle but don’t know how. I’ve tried reducing fonts delete parts of code but nothing seems to work.
Please help me out.

I tried your template – very nice.
One little problem: The Captcha function with comments isn’t supported in this template – so it’s quite dangerous to get a lot of SPAM…
It’s me again. The template works well with Firefox and Opera – but not with IE. There the sidebar isn’t displayed correctly.

Found the problem with IE – the Google search input text field was to large – set width to 16px – it works now.

Check the line where you set the picture as background – there is a mistake!
And the bad links in the sidebar – there you have also to check the HTML code – there are errors how you implemented these links.

santosh : i don\’t know if blogger allow expandable post like those in wordpress. I\’ll do some research, chances are slim.

But this image is still 400×322. Did you forgot to change the link to the right image?
The hyperlink problem for “Latest” is quite strange – I’ll have a look again.

I don’t really unterstand what you said. On the blog configuration page for comments you can choose if you want a popup for new comments or the page where you see post and comment togeather.

An other problem: The implementation of the “Bablefish” in the sidebar is not correct – you have to check the “div” and “end-div” – at least one “end-div” is too much.
Then you have check the “Links” in the sidebar – the beginning “li” are missing for every link.

I’m sorry, let me try to explain again. I’ve enable the pop up window in blog settings, and what I want is that when someone choose to comment a post, only the pop up window is showned. At the moment, it goes to the post personal page, displays the previous comments and only when you choose to comment it displays the comment pop up window. In conclusion, what I want is to go directly to the comment pop up window when you choose to comment in the blog mainpage.
Hey great template! I’m using it for my blog but i’m running into a few problems. On the page the white background of the body only extends as far as the sidebar. This is the case on Firefox and Opera. On IE it extends all the way to the bottom of the page, yet on there the font is huge and/or bold on half the page and sidebar. Anyway to fix this? Many thanx in advance.

Re-check all the new elements you inserted in the template. Seems that you have too much end-DIV’s somewhere.

When I click on “comment” on a posting then I get the page with this posting alone and – if available – all the comments to this page.
On the bottom of this page I see “Postar um comentário” and if I click on this line I get the popup window.
I don’t see any “post personal page”.
I don’t think I makes any sense to have the comment popup window as soon as you click on “comments” in the main page, because you don’t see the comments.
But perhaps I sill don’t understand your question…
That’s right! And what I want is that when you click on “comment” it dont go to the post page, the one with that post only, i want it remain in the blog homepage and to just open the comment pop up window. In resume, when you click on “comment” it should do the same thing that “postar um comentário”. The comment popup window as the previous comments, so that’s enough for me. Let me give you an example. When you click on comment at http://namlixes.blogspot.com/ , the popup window emerge automatically, and you can still see the previous comments on it.
But then a reader of your blog can never read other comments.
Shure he can! In the popup window appears the previous comments. Please try to comment and you will see the previous comments.

You are right – the comments are also displayed in the popup window. To get this window – play with the function – it’s the function which calls the popup window.

I inserted the “BlogItemCreate” line after the div=itemtext – so you have after every posting the line to comment the article and this link gives the popup window. See my blog as example.
It isn’t working correctly for me in firefox … the blog extends all the way to the edge and pushes the sidebar down …

For your information – I deleted again the link to the comment popup window after every posting – so on my blog the default setup is reset now.
Hi there, this template is great, but the body seems to be so wide that it is slammed right against the sidebar. I have tried everything to make it so it is not so wide but nothing works. Where in the code can I change it so there is a bigger space between the posts and the sidebar?

Is there any way to make the comments and publishing info go beneath the posts rather than above them? I love the look of the blog and I’ve gotten tons of compliments already, but I do prefer having the comments after the posts. Thanks!
okay i have the same problem that tracy, when clic to download the template and i get a zip. when i open the zip it open on the text edit program but instead of getting the html wording i get this half made page. I use a mac, so normally i use safari but i tried internet explorer and is the same exact thing.
hope you can help me because i need to change my blog pronto
S:onthego – If you control-click and open with notepad, you should be able to open with no problem. Safari is ok for downloading this text file, but textedit is the problem.

Awesome. I loved the feel of a wordpress blog this template creates. I have a quick question – is there a simplae way to change the basic background to the color I changed the tabs too? I tried changing it but it just looks like white. Maybe I did something wrong. Please help.

Hi.. I have used the template and modified it to more or less my satisfaction. Fellow readers who use Firefox are unable to access the comments section. Did I do something wrong? Please help.
the demo works fine with my Firefox 1.5 and 1.2 but not yours, other blogs seems to be working fine. did you modify the code… or somehow delete something?
Let me go back and compare. I was playing around with the color and maybe deleted something.

hi, i just wanted to say the template worked.. and yeah the problem is with text edit.. it also didn’t open with word so i downloaded mac notepad ( http://www.apimac.com/notepad/ ) and everything worked… so if there are any more users with macs this might help.

First, I partly chose this template b/c you respond to questions, so thank you for that…
1) On July 19, someone asked you about increasing the padding on the right side so the main body of the blog wasn’t so close to the right bar. You responded by mentioning the CSS style layout. Can you tell me where that is in the template?
2) I have never switched to an entirely new template. I built a fake blog on my dashboard and it looks like how I want the real one to look. Do I literally just cut and paste the new template over the old (real) one, making some minor alterations here and there? Will that work – is it that simple?

Hi, just thought I’d let you know that the template doesn’t display properly with IE 6.0. The sidebar content only appears in the bottom of the sidebar and not alongside the main content. (It looks perfect in Firefox though.)
Is there anything I can do to get round this? Apart from that, it’s a great template and I’d really love to be able to use it.

Anybody out there? My last few issues have been in the design realm, but now I am having a technical issue. The post indicates that there have been comments, but when you click on comment it reads “0 Responses..” What gives?

Where is the file header.jpg exactly located? You must put the complete URL for the image say http://www.mysite.com/customstyle/header.jpg, so the code should be:

or try this format:

I can’t (like some other have mentioned) get the top page links to work. The “home” one works, but the others don’t.
For instance, I have one titled “my radio show”. I put in the url and when I click it, I get a warning reading “You are about to log into the site ‘blogspot.com’ with the username ‘www%Elizaspills’, but the website does not require authentication. This may be an attempt to trick you. Is ‘blogspot.com’ the site you want to visit?”
Then, when I click “yes”, it takes me to my K’vitsh dashboard.

Hi, this is an awesome template, but I am having one problem with it. I have always posted my pictures on my blog with Flickr. However, on this template, my pictures do not show up anymore. Hi, I love this template very much. However, I have way too many things to put on my side column and one column doesnt fit all. so can we have a 3 column template for K2?
I have started using this excellent template and managed to make alterations. However there are two things that I would love to be able to do and ca’nt for the life of me find the right bit of code to change.
The first is to change the font size of posts (the general text) and to increase the line spacing of the same text.
The second is to make the grey body colour that is around the outside of the white 760px width area a different colour.
Really do hope that someone can help me. Thanks
i copied and pasted the .txt file for K2 into the blogger html template editor but it won’t wrong and says to check XML endings or something. I also tried uploading the txt file, but that didn’t work either. Also tried doing it though IE and firefox, didn’t work on either. Is there a mistake in part of the updated template? cheers

Alas like the last comment, blogger won’t seem to let me use it.
I am given the error “Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure that all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.”
I love this template, however, I am having huge issues in internet explorer. It looks great in Firefox, but in IE…it’s a mess. What do I need to change? Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.
Great template, I’ve used it for some months already. One disturbing thing that I cannot find out how to fix: the Blog description in the header does not line out well on the second line; instead of a certain margin, it jumps onto the left border of the layer. I run short of knowledge of CSS etc to figure this out. Can anybody help?

This template is beautiful, but my experience is exactly the same of the previous comment. I got a Mac, could this be the reason it doesn’t work? Please help us, I like this template soooo much!

I would also like to join the chorus of people requesting that this template be updated for Blogger 2.0. My older version still works, but that’s only because it was on blogspot before the switch and seems to have been “grandfathered” by their new strict style requirements. It would be great if new bloggers could take advantage of this wonderful and versatile template as well.

Firstly, thank you for this gorgeous template, it’s so versatile and after a bit of scratching around, I managed to customise it just the way I wanted it. There were just a few things that I couldn’t work out – how do you move the published time and date and link to the comments so that they appear after each post? Also, I have the pop-up comments enabled from my last template but I can’t seem to get the pop-up box on this template – what do I need to change?

Is there a way to get the text, the title at the top off of the page? I’ve tried removing it but it I can’t seem to do it. Any help?
To fix this common problem you need to revert back to the classic template. Here’s how to do it:
To change back to a Blogger classic template, log into Dashboard, then for the relevant blog, click LAYOUT, then click EDIT HTML. The post editor will open.
It is highly recommended to save a copy of your current template to your computer DOWNLOAD FULL TEMPLATE at the top of the post editor. Then at the bottom of the post editor, click REVERT TO CLASSIC TEMPLATE.
Clicking on REVERT TO CLASSIC TEMPLATE will bring a pop-up with a reassuring message “If you revert to your Classic template, you will still be able to recover your current design.” Click OK, and your template will then be reverted to the last saved template of your pre-beta blog.
You can then copy and paste in a Classic Template. Save changes and then click on View Blog link – it worked for me!

Why can’t I get this to work in blogger? Cut cut and paste the html but it says that it is not well formed. What do I do?

I also created a 3 column version of the K2 Blogger theme at my blog. It seems like the codes for this one don’t even allow me to upload it onto Blogger. I had to modify it quite a bit!

When you add a widget to your sidebar, you must delete the “quickedit” item that blogger puts on the widget code.

I love the template but am havin problems with post pages. When i click a post page that has a short post, the white box is fixed to the text bar and the sidebar text runs out of the white area into the background. Help!

Hi, I really like your template! I uploaded it to blogger and have been messing around with the colors of the text. I seem to have screwed up somewhere, though. I tried to change the color of the “blog title” to white so I can see it over my picture and somehow managed to turn it a dark green that cannot be seen at all.
Could you possibly tell me which part of the code controls the color of the blog title? Thank you!
I keep running into a problem when installing this.
When I upload the template, I get a message saying, “Widgets are about to be deleted” and shows that the one to be deleted is Profile1. When I confirm it I get a Blogspot error “We’re sorry, but we were unable to complete your request.” With an error number. If I instead uncheck Expand Widget Templates, I get another error and it reverts to the standard Blogspot template.

hi there, could someone help me? i just started using this template, it’s pretty easy to customise on it but i dunno why the widgets on the right column, after 2 widgets, there will be a HUGE SPACE before the 3rd widget appears somewhere right at the bottom of the webpage.
