June 2nd, 2006Hi, can u create for me 3 column template…?
admin
June 2nd, 2006personally i hate 3 column template, one of the many reason are:
1. they have lots of ads.
2. adsense publisher then to fill both columns with ads.
3. bloggers with 3 columns template tend to remove the credit (link) back to the author of the template.
4. maybe i’ll write one in the near future… maybe. thanks for using these templates. hope you like it.

June 5th, 2006Thanks so much for the use of this wondeful template. I have an issue I’d like to change but have not been able to. Following is the code for the Title and Comment line in your template. i want to make the the “0 Comments” to be smaller than the title so it does not compete with the title of my posts. Could you please help me in putting a smaller type size for this? Sure would appreciate it:
” class=”item entry”>
“>
[THIS IS WHERE I'D LIKE TO MAKE THE LINKED TEXT SMALLER:] #comments”> comments
etc …
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can give.
All the Best,

June 13th, 2006I tried your template - very nice.
One little problem: The Captcha function with comments isn’t supported in this template - so it’s quite dangerous to get a lot of SPAM…

June 13th, 2006It’s me again. The template works well with Firefox and Opera - but not with IE. There the sidebar isn’t displayed correctly.

Fernando Eloy
June 15th, 2006sorry to bug you again:
i fouund this line #headr {
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
position: relative;
height: 200px;
background: #3371A3 url(’http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/7994/1253/1600/K2.jpg’) no-repeat bottom center;

replaced the pic:
#headr {
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
position: relative;
height: 200px;
background: #3371A3 url(’http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/4508/867/400/storm1.1.jpg” border=”0″ alt=’) no-repeat bottom center;
}
but nothing happened.
One more thing: i cannot avoid the titles on the right column (”archive” and “latest”) to wrap; they always show up in 2 or more lines instead of just one. I have tried to change that but I couldn’t yet. in your demo is fine
thanx again
Fernando Eloy
June 15th, 2006forget about the right column thing. it was a preview problem. the photo is the issue.

June 20th, 2006Hi! I loved this template but I don’t want to open the post window when people want to comment on a new post, I want only the pop window to be showned, and the page to remain on the blog homepage. Can anyone tell me what should I remove from the code? Thanks in advance.
tin
June 21st, 2006@Fernando.
I see that you have the background image set to http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/4508/867/400/storm1.1.jpg
But this image is still 400×322. Did you forgot to change the link to the right image?
The hyperlink problem for “Latest” is quite strange - I’ll have a look again.
tin
June 21st, 2006@Jo
I don’t really unterstand what you said. On the blog configuration page for comments you can choose if you want a popup for new comments or the page where you see post and comment togeather.
tin
June 21st, 2006@Fernando
In the header menu you have still an error
!–################################# Put your links here ############################################–>
a href=”=”http://lenadagua.blogspot.com”>Lena d’Água
You have two =” at the beginning
tin
June 21st, 2006@Fernando
An other problem: The implementation of the “Bablefish” in the sidebar is not correct - you have to check the “div” and “end-div” - at least one “end-div” is too much.
Then you have check the “Links” in the sidebar - the beginning “li” are missing for every link.
tin ( tin at 111 dot com)
tin
June 21st, 2006@Fernando
An other problem: The implementation of the background picture is wrong, check the style
#headr {
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
position: relative;
height: 200px;
background: #3371A3 url(’http://……..’) no-repeat bottom center;
}
There can’t be “border” and “alt” attributes in this url link, only the url to the picture.
tin
June 21st, 2006And the hyperlink problem in the sidebar.
Change style
.secondary h2 { /* Secondary H2 is sidebar headlines */
font-size: 1.5em;
font-weight: normal;
padding: 100px 50px 20px;;
display: inline;
}
To:
.secondary h2 { /* Secondary H2 is sidebar headlines */
font-size: 1.5em;
font-weight: normal;
display: inline;
}
Well - quite a few things to change - then it should work! ;-)
Jo
June 21st, 2006I’m sorry, let me try to explain again. I’ve enable the pop up window in blog settings, and what I want is that when someone choose to comment a post, only the pop up window is showned. At the moment, it goes to the post personal page, displays the previous comments and only when you choose to comment it displays the comment pop up window. In conclusion, what I want is to go directly to the comment pop up window when you choose to comment in the blog mainpage.
Paul
June 21st, 2006Hey great template! I’m using it for my blog but i’m running into a few problems. On the page the white background of the body only extends as far as the sidebar. This is the case on Firefox and Opera. On IE it extends all the way to the bottom of the page, yet on there the font is huge and/or bold on half the page and sidebar. Anyway to fix this? Many thanx in advance.
Fernando Eloy
June 21st, 2006thanx tin! I will change it. The pic is still there with the mistakes because I tried one with the proper size and it was even worse. two small. It 720×200
tin
June 21st, 2006@Paul
Re-check all the new elements you inserted in the template. Seems that you have too much end-DIV’s somewhere.
Paul
June 22nd, 2006ok, yea that was the problem. Everything looks good now i think. Thanks so much for the help :D
Jo
June 23rd, 2006So tin, can you help me? Tankes :)
tin
June 23rd, 2006When I click on “comment” on a posting then I get the page with this posting alone and - if available - all the comments to this page.
On the bottom of this page I see “Postar um comentário” and if I click on this line I get the popup window.
I don’t see any “post personal page”.
I don’t think I makes any sense to have the comment popup window as soon as you click on “comments” in the main page, because you don’t see the comments.
But perhaps I sill don’t understand your question…
Jo
June 23rd, 2006That’s right! And what I want is that when you click on “comment” it dont go to the post page, the one with that post only, i want it remain in the blog homepage and to just open the comment pop up window. In resume, when you click on “comment” it should do the same thing that “postar um comentário”. The comment popup window as the previous comments, so that’s enough for me. Let me give you an example. When you click on comment at http://namlixes.blogspot.com/ , the popup window emerge automatically, and you can still see the previous comments on it.
tin
June 23rd, 2006But then a reader of your blog can never read other comments.
Jo
June 24th, 2006Shure he can! In the popup window appears the previous comments. Please try to comment and you will see the previous comments.

You are right - the comments are also displayed in the popup window. To get this window - play with the function - it’s the function which calls the popup window.
@tracy
I don’t really understand what you are telling us. Do you have a link to your blog so I can see the problems?
tin
June 26th, 2006@Jo again
I function I told you is not displayed here - I meant the function “BlogItemCreate”.
tin
June 26th, 2006@Jo - once again
I inserted the “BlogItemCreate” line after the div=itemtext - so you have after every posting the line to comment the article and this link gives the popup window. See my blog as example.

June 30th, 2006Hi there, this template is great, but the body seems to be so wide that it is slammed right against the sidebar. I have tried everything to make it so it is not so wide but nothing works. Where in the code can I change it so there is a bigger space between the posts and the sidebar?

August 25th, 2006Hello!
First, I partly chose this template b/c you respond to questions, so thank you for that…
1) On July 19, someone asked you about increasing the padding on the right side so the main body of the blog wasn’t so close to the right bar. You responded by mentioning the CSS style layout. Can you tell me where that is in the template?
2) I have never switched to an entirely new template. I built a fake blog on my dashboard and it looks like how I want the real one to look. Do I literally just cut and paste the new template over the old (real) one, making some minor alterations here and there? Will that work - is it that simple?
THANKS!!
admin
August 26th, 2006@Xolondon
1) to modify the sidebar of the template, adjust the setting at:
.secondary {
font: 1em/1.5em 'Lucida Grande', Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif;
padding: 10px 0;
margin: 0 0 20px 71%;
width: 26%;
color: #666;
position: relative;
/* The following are IE Fixes */
/*_padding: 30px 0 10px;
_margin-left: 0%;
_margin-right: -4%;
_width: 26.5%;*/ /* IE hack */
}
any code with the “.secondary” name refers to the sidebar.
2)yup, simply cut and paste the code. just remember to make a back up copy of your old template just incase things goes wrong.
xolondon
August 26th, 2006Thanks very much!

August 27th, 2006Hi, just thought I’d let you know that the template doesn’t display properly with IE 6.0. The sidebar content only appears in the bottom of the sidebar and not alongside the main content. (It looks perfect in Firefox though.)
Is there anything I can do to get round this? Apart from that, it’s a great template and I’d really love to be able to use it.

August 29th, 2006I am really please with this template! Thanks.
I have a few issues with mine blog as I am fine tuning for my interests. I don’t know html very well, but am having fun tinkering
1. Email tab seems to give me an unrelated blank blogger page…could I get a line of code to fix this?
2. Search block goes well over the right side bar…how can I make this smaller?
Thank you!

August 31st, 2006Hi,
Blogger has the new beta up and running.
It’s now even possible to edit html.
Unfortunately it doesn’t work yet with this template
This is the message I get when putting in the template code:
“We were unable to save your template
Please correct the error below, and submit your template again.
Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup. ”
I think this has something to do with it, but am not sure:

Can you help?
Thanks in advance

August 31st, 2006Anybody out there? My last few issues have been in the design realm, but now I am having a technical issue. The post indicates that there have been comments, but when you click on comment it reads “0 Responses..” What gives?
I would also like to have the comments read under the post instead of a new page loading…how can I do that?
Thanks for whatever help I might receive!

August 31st, 2006Can anyone help with this header problem I’m having? It’s driving me nuts. I edited the the css to
#headr {
padding: 0;
margin: 0;
position: relative;
height: 200px;
background:transparent url(’customstyle/header.jpg’) no-repeat bottom center;
}
and in the preview the page looks fine, showing the new image, but the image doesnt show on my blog…I would appreciate any help I can get before pulling my hair out

September 2nd, 2006Hi Ryan,
Where is the file header.jpg exactly located? You must put the complete URL for the image say http://www.mysite.com/customstyle/header.jpg, so the code should be:
background:transparent url(”http://www.mysite.com/customstyle/header.jpg”) no-repeat bottom center;
or try this format:
background:url(”http://www.mysite.com/customstyle/header.jpg”) no-repeat; bottom center;

September 9th, 2006Hi there. Thanks for this layout - it rocks!
I can’t (like some other have mentioned) get the top page links to work. The “home” one works, but the others don’t.
For instance, I have one titled “my radio show”. I put in the url and when I click it, I get a warning reading “You are about to log into the site ‘blogspot.com’ with the username ‘www%Elizaspills’, but the website does not require authentication. This may be an attempt to trick you. Is ‘blogspot.com’ the site you want to visit?”
Then, when I click “yes”, it takes me to my K’vitsh dashboard.
Help!

December 5th, 2006I just came across your site recently - very cool templates! Thanks.
I was hoping for a little bit of help regarding one particular feature of the K2 template - how does the in post navigation work? I found this code to place within the tags:
« “>Home | “>title= »
However, if I try to transfer this to another one of your blog templates, the BloggerPreviouItems tag displays and points to the current post rather than the previous one. What am I missing? Thanks!

December 16th, 2006Hi, this is an awesome template, but I am having one problem with it. I have always posted my pictures on my blog with Flickr. However, on this template, my pictures do not show up anymore. Is there something in the code of this template that I can edit so that it will show pictures uploaded from Flickr? Thanks.

December 25th, 2006Hi, I love this template very much. However, I have way too many things to put on my side column and one column doesnt fit all. so can we have a 3 column template for K2?

January 1st, 2007I have started using this excellent template and managed to make alterations. However there are two things that I would love to be able to do and ca’nt for the life of me find the right bit of code to change.
The first is to change the font size of posts (the general text) and to increase the line spacing of the same text.
The second is to make the grey body colour that is around the outside of the white 760px width area a different colour.
Really do hope that someone can help me. Thanks

January 3rd, 2007i copied and pasted the .txt file for K2 into the blogger html template editor but it won’t wrong and says to check XML endings or something. I also tried uploading the txt file, but that didn’t work either. Also tried doing it though IE and firefox, didn’t work on either. Is there a mistake in part of the updated template? cheers

January 4th, 2007Hi looks like an excellent template and I’d love to use it.
Alas like the last comment, blogger won’t seem to let me use it.
I am given the error “Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure that all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.”

January 22nd, 2007I love this template, however, I am having huge issues in internet explorer. It looks great in Firefox, but in IE…it’s a mess. What do I need to change? Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.

January 22nd, 2007Great template, I’ve used it for some months already. One disturbing thing that I cannot find out how to fix: the Blog description in the header does not line out well on the second line; instead of a certain margin, it jumps onto the left border of the layer. I run short of knowledge of CSS etc to figure this out. Can anybody help?

January 25th, 2007I’m having the same issue as Matt and Harry. Perhaps because I’m in the new Blogger? Would love to use you, but can’t make it work! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

February 19th, 2007I would also like to join the chorus of people requesting that this template be updated for Blogger 2.0. My older version still works, but that’s only because it was on blogspot before the switch and seems to have been “grandfathered” by their new strict style requirements. It would be great if new bloggers could take advantage of this wonderful and versatile template as well.

February 24th, 2007Hello,
Firstly, thank you for this gorgeous template, it’s so versatile and after a bit of scratching around, I managed to customise it just the way I wanted it. There were just a few things that I couldn’t work out - how do you move the published time and date and link to the comments so that they appear after each post? Also, I have the pop-up comments enabled from my last template but I can’t seem to get the pop-up box on this template - what do I need to change?
Thanks! H x

February 26th, 2007Hello. I think this template is truly spectacular, and I’d like to use it for my blog. The question is, is it compatible with the new blogger style or is an old template? Thanks in advance.

February 26th, 2007I’m joining in the throng of people questioning the new blogger implementation of this template. It is truly a beauty in the world of blogs and I’d love to use it, but it is clearly not compatible with New Blogger. Any word on an update? Thank you!
