Ads blindness happen when readers frequently visit a blog, they tend to avoid reading the ads display at that position. Some bloggers tend to rotate the ads by display ads of different sizes and colours with plugins, but what if you’re a blogspot user? There are no plugins to rotate your ads, but that doesn’t mean that you need to do change the code now and then.

The people at Google Adsense understand this and there is a function that allows bloggers exspecially blogspot user to select multiple colour scheme, thus reducing ads blindness. These schemes can be from either the pre-designed or custom palettes. Simply use you CTRL key to select multiple schemes after selecting “Use Mulitple Palettes” at the bottom of the Adsense Palettes combo box.

Multiple ads color scheme is best used for the main page, choose bright colour that are eye catching because returning visitors tend areas where they knows ads are being display. Try an experiment and analyse the CTR when multiple colour scheme is being used and without. Try it both ways, keep a record and statistics on where and when you run the ads with different color schemes, you may find a particular style that is preferred by your visitors. And always remember, the visitor is the one who matters most !
