Sidenotes for Blogs
Darren Rowse has an interesting post on this new little feature for blog. Its called sidenotes, combination of Javascript and CSS. You’ll be able to insert notes and pictures inbetween the articles and the readers has the ability of hide the notes if they felt like it.
You can see them in action here.
Very cool and unique feature, makes me wonder if it works with Blogger.com and is it possible to insert adsense into the notes? Please enlighten me. Thanks.
Microsoft makes software for robots
I just couldn’t believe it, Microsoft is going to make Robots? As far as I am concern, Honda has the most advance robot in the world provided that the Pentagon not developing one at the moment. Software is the heart of every hardware, and without software, the hardware is just a few pieces of silicon glued together.
If Microsoft were to produce software for robots and by any chance any company that market it, I gurantee you I’ll won’t buy that piece of metal or plastic. Just imagine a hacker gain entry to your buggy unstable Microsoft’s software, and with those high quality camera lens mounted into every robot, making love is no longer a private thing.
This week the division has released its first bit of software the Microsoft Robotics Studio which aims to create common technological standards in the industry. A spokesVole said that it’s intended for use with a wide range of robots although it runs on Windows.
Trower said that Vole believes robotics could present a big opportunity as the market grows and consumer robotics alone will grow into a multibillion-dollar industry in five to 10 years.

Girl sues MySpace for £16m
This must be the joke of the year, according to Telegraph News the girl decided to take up legal action against MySpace for failing to protect so called innocent people like her from falling victim. She even claim that it was MySpace fault that she gave her trust and her 10++ magical contact number to the online friend.
A 14-year-old girl is suing an online chat site for $30 million (£16 million) for failing to protect her against an alleged sexual predator.
According to the suit filed in Texas, MySpace.com has “absolutely no meaningful protections or security measures to protect under-age users”.
The way I see it, good luck my friend and I bet MySpace is going to hire a USD400 per hour lawyer and she will have to get a USD100 per hour lawyer, after 10 years the lawyers will be laughing their way to the bank.
Microsoft release Windows live messenger
Microsoft Corp , the biggest bully in the world has just release their latest Instant Messenger. I have to admit that I am a MSN Messenger user and before that ICQ was my all time favorite. I guess those cute icons during my teen years are no longer attractive as age catch up. Innovative wise, messenger lack behind ICQ and Yahoo, but because it comes pre-installed in every Windows, they’re able to gran a large portion of the market from ICQ - once a leading IM during their hay days.
“The launch of windows live messenger is an important milestone for the business as we work towards realising the windows live vision. This vision is based around putting people at the centre of their digital life and creating a seamless experience across their pc, devices, applications and the web”
Its buggy, unstable, lack of features and still in beta mode… What are you waiting for? download now at Microsoft LIVE
