Software dos makes de Microsoft para robôs

Eu apenas não poderia acreditá-lo, Microsoft estou indo fazer robôs? Tanto quanto eu sou interesse, Honda tem a maioria de robô avançado no mundo contanto que o Pentagon que não desenvolve um neste momento. O software é o coração de cada ferragem, e sem software, a ferragem é justa algumas partes de silicone coladas junto.

Se Microsoft for produzir o software para os robôs e por qualquer possibilidade qualquer companhia que a introduzem no mercado, gurantee de I você que eu não comprará essa parte de metal ou de plástico. Imagine apenas uma entrada do ganho do hacker a seu software instável de Microsoft do buggy, e com aqueles lente de câmera da alta qualidade montada em cada robô, fazendo amor é já não uma coisa confidencial.

Esta semana a divisão liberou seu primeiro bocado do software o estúdio do Robotics de Microsoft que aponta criar padrões tecnologicos comuns na indústria. Um spokesVole disse que pretendeu para o uso com uma escala larga dos robôs embora funcionasse em Windows.

Trower disse que a ratazana acredita que o robotics poderia apresentar uma oportunidade grande enquanto o mercado cresce e robotics do consumidor sozinho crescerá em uma indústria de vários bilhões de dollares em cinco a 10 anos.

A menina sues MySpace para £16m

Este deve ser o gracejo do ano, de acordo com Notícia do telégrafo a menina decidiu-se fazer exame acima da ação legal de encontro a MySpace para que não proteja assim que - povos inocentes chamados como ela da vítima de queda. Reivindica mesmo que era falha de MySpace que lhe deu a confiança e o seu 10++ número mágico do contato ao amigo em linha.

Uma menina de 14 year-old suing um local em linha do bate-papo para $30 milhões (£16 milhão) para que não a proteja de encontro a um predador sexual alegado.

According to the suit filed in Texas, MySpace.com has “absolutely no meaningful protections or security measures to protect under-age users”.

The way I see it, good luck my friend and I bet MySpace is going to hire a USD400 per hour lawyer and she will have to get a USD100 per hour lawyer, after 10 years the lawyers will be laughing their way to the bank.

Microsoft release Windows live messenger

Microsoft Corp , the biggest bully in the world has just release their latest Instant Messenger. I have to admit that I am a MSN Messenger user and before that ICQ was my all time favorite. I guess those cute icons during my teen years are no longer attractive as age catch up. Innovative wise, messenger lack behind ICQ and Yahoo, but because it comes pre-installed in every Windows, they’re able to gran a large portion of the market from ICQ - once a leading IM during their hay days.

Power Usage of Each Gaming Console

So, you think that the X-box is cheaper and that is one of the main reason you bought the console. Think twice, gizmodo has a nice little comparison on how much power does different console draw. As usual, X-Box cost less than the PlayStation but in term of power consumptiom wise, its gonna burn a hole in your pocket.

When in standby mode, The 360 leaks 17.52kWh per year, resulting in $2.63 worth of energy loss at $0.15 a kWh. What’s surprising is that the PS2 leaks just about the same amount of juice, even though it doesn’t need to keep its wireless port active for turning on the console via the wireless controller.

Currently the comparison is only limited to the previous generation of Playstation, its hard to compare when X-Box 360 has a much powerful processor. I bet the Playstation 3 will consume double the electricity of the X-Box.

Mac vs. Windows: A designer’s perspective

mac vs windowsCreativeGuy has an interesting post on the pro and cons or a mac, I’m never a mac user and never will be in the near future. The reason being is that I’m brought up in a Windows environment and am so use to it. Yeah, there are Mac in my design college but so far I find them not so user friendly as what most people describe. No right click button until last year?

Not to mention that Mac has only a handfull of games, such as Solitaire and WarCraft 3, that is about it. With no option to buy a good Creative Sound Card, what is the point of buying a good labtec or Altec Lansing Speakers? I guess Mac users are stuck with that lousy quality sound that pump out from their CPU/Monitor.

I don’t want to give the impression that Macs don’t have any problems, but I’m just saying that it’s not fair to judge Apple’s QA based on their iPod battery life. The ball isn’t in their court on that one, the people who make batteries have to come up with a better solution, first. Macs aren’t immune to problems, but then neither are any computers, really. Maybe they have slipped on their QA, I don’t know. Personally, I haven’t had any issues (knock on wood) with any Macs that I’ve owned, but my friend, who has the same PowerBook as me, had an issue with the latch. They were very good about fixing it, though.


I believe the instability of Windows is because people has the option to install various softwares and chances are these third party software will eat up or shall I say mess up the Windows Registry sooner or later. Unlike Mac, everything is inhouse, and with the source code, mac programmers are able to code the programs due to the better understanding of the I/O of Mac O/S.

I’m not a big fan of Bill Gates and his Microsoft, but I sure hope Mac or Linux will eat up a few percent of their market, and I’ll be the small percentage of rebel, I am thinking of installing Linux in my old comp.
