Hi. How did you a convert a Wordpress theme into one for Blogger?

    Cheers.

easy, preserve the CSS code and most of the tables and then put in the essential blogger codes. the main thing is the layout… preserve it.

    3 things:

    1) This template is beautiful!
    2) I translated your template into Spanish, I can send it to you if you wish
    3) I had some pictures in my blog and now they’re too big… since it’s a graphic design blog mostly, I wouldn’t like to make them smaller… can I make the body wider, i.e. removing some of the left margin?

I love the design, and tried uploading it to my blogger account. I got the following error:

We were unable to save your template
Please correct the error below, and submit your template again.
Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup.

I don’t know if that’s because I’m using OS X, Blogger Beta or…? Any suggestions would be welcome.

    Thanks,

    David

    Hey Gecko n Fly

    Thx for this awesome template!

I think there’s a bit of a problem with the ‘postedby’ part of the template.
It works clean in the Word Press version. I think u have left out a bit of code.

Could u please check it out? & reply earliest possible.

    Arjun (I love ur creations!)

Guys ! Great work. Love the template.

And I faced the same issues as “elements were not closed properly”
I applied the classic template and then copied this one, worked smooth.

Somebody knows how fix the ”not well-formed thingy” thingy? I am becoming crazy, this template is amazing but can’t use it because is giving me same error as David and the others guys.

    Please help :((

For issues in Blogger – The problem is that you are in the upgraded LAYOUT. If you go into Layout, then click EDIT HTML. Scroll down and click on the “REVERT TO CLASSIC TEMPLATE” ** BE SURE TO SAVE YOUR HTML CODE FIRST **

Once you revert back, you can then use these templates.

I was just wanting to put the blogger navbar at the top of the Emire template. Do you provide help with that sort of thing? If not, thanks for the great template!

How did you get this comment to work in blogger? I didn’t think the new one allowed comments from an external system

this is a great template, i’m so glad that i found it. it took me quite a while to configure it for my site. however, why does it looked fine in opera 9.02 and firefox 2.05 but the CSS and everything is haywire in IE7, despite the demo site looked fine in IE7??

anyone can help me out, either admin or the author of this template??

The footer bug is not a CSS bug, it’s an Internet Explorer bug.

When you paste the template code in Blogger, remove these lines:

I know it’s not right to remove the ad, it worked for me in IE by removing these lines. I compared the code provided for download with the code in the demo blog. These lines are missing and the doctype declaration seems to mess IE up.

Update: since this blog does no accept HTML pasting, you can find the lines that have to be removed here: http://dark-code.bulix.org/kqcnmw-69320
