India Ban Blogs
India has joined the Internet Filtering Club of China, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Euthopia. The Indian government have issued a notification to block certain blogs on *.blogspot.com, tyepad.com, blogs, and geocities.com but the ISPs went a step further and blocked the entire blogspot.com domain. Well done.
India is the biggest democracy country on this planet and they should set an example to the world. Blocking blogs is not the solution and if inaccurate information that threaten the country’s security should be diplomatically solve with Google and others by shutting down the specific blog.
If you’re a loyal reader of certain blogs in blogspot and you’re not able to access it, try read the blogs thru feeds. It works. Stop this Internet Filtering practice!

India transportation
on July 29th, 2007One of the good things about blocking is that google.co.in helped them do so. My guess is that they have filtered all, and will release one after the other they pass the test. I see some of them getting through now.
Some of the websites like mine India transit had lots of backlinks from those blogspot, and have noticed that even search engines are banning them. So no wonder govt. don’t like it either.
Thanks,
