Dell DJ Ditty has gone the Dodo Bird Way

Its small, light, comes with a screen and a FM radio. It has more feature than Apple’s shuffle but then it failed to do what it is suppose to do - take the world by storm. Dell has officially announce the end of Dell DJ Ditty.
The DJ Ditty plays MP3, WAV, and WMA music files, as well as Audible-formatted audio books, if you compare the features, Dell beats Apple flat. I think Microsoft Zune too would face the same fate, unless it has millions of features that no one can resist. For example a TV receiver and who knows - bluetooh file sharing capability.
Dell removed DJ Ditty from its Web site on August 17, said Dell spokesman Venancio Figueroa. “We want to tighten our consumer product focus and we believe we can do that with PCs , TVs, and printers,” he said.
United States of America’s Cyborgs

The future is here, VeriChip - a microchip company with powerful political connections is lobbying the Pentagon for the right to implant chips under the skins of the nearly 1.4 million U.S. military personnel. According to them, dog tags are not so effective when it comes to identifying dead soldiers. There is pro and cons, but the bigger picture would be the lives of a soldier, kidnappers watch out, you’ll be traced.
Ebay Belgium Gureilla Advertisement

Seeing a shop closing down is a very sad situation, its depressing and ugly. The people at Ebay Belgium decided to seize this opportunity has turn the sadness around, while promoting themselve along the way. The campaign is very good, well it is true that if one can’t find it in a local brick and mortar store, chances are you will find it in Ebay.
SUCK UK Coat Rack and Voodoo Doll

This is the coolest looking coat racks and a pen holder one could have, imagine coat rack that look like darts and pen holder that has a hole right at the heart of a dead fred. I’ve got no idea where the designer got his idea from but I believe he must have got it during office hours - that’s for sure. Very cool, can’t wait to buy it.
PlayStation 3 -

For those that are waiting for the release of Playstation 3, wait not. According to Kaz Hirai, Sony claims PS3 shortages are inevitable. The schedule release for Playstation 3 is on November and with 3 more months to go and no production on the line, Sony need a miracle or yet another delay? This would be the best christmans gift for the guys at Xbox if Sony were to postpone the launch of Playstation 3 again.
“Even if you do the simple math you’re talking about less than 700,000 units per territory, per major territory, between launch and the end of the year. So even if there was some fluctuation - you give Japan more, you give the US more, what have you - you’re going to end up with some shortages,” Hirai continued
Kaz Hirai is confident that Sony is able to deliver the 2 million unit by November, maybe they have everything ready except for a few components, possibily the blue-ray player. I believe all they have to do is assemble the components when the essential components are ready. Don’t let us down Sony, I have to love for Microsoft and anything they do, its to kill of competition.
PSP Goes Pink
The PSP has gone pink, I guess the guys at Sony must be thinking that celebrities would show off their pink PSP like how these celebrities has gone all the way promoting Motorola V3i RAZR pink.
Sony manage to get P!nk the pop group to promote the latest PSP Pink. Ironically, P!nk is not under Sony BMG Music and the best part is each new PSP Pink comes with her song, I wonder why in the world would Sony want to do that. Would be pop group, make sure your group name is White or Black… or something technologically viable.

The Birth of Lenovo’s Opti Desktop PC
This is the uguliest desktop PC I’ve ever seen. Lenovo, this is a flop. Lenovo was a late commer in the desktop pc world, and I do respect their courage to take on the world, but if one can’t create then innovate.
The largest computer manufacturer in China, Lenovo dominated the market for years by selling low-cost PC clones. That was back when the company enjoyed the protection of China’s import and export laws. When China joined the World Trade Organization in 2001, Lenovo suddenly faced competition from companies such as Dell, IBM, and HP, which could compete on price and win on status. The company needed to shift from product imitation to innovation.

With that design, Dell and HP would certainly gain another few percent of the chinese desktop pc market. Beijing, We have a problem!
