Its official now, we have 8 planets instead of 9. Pluto has been demoted into yet another rock. Textbook will have to be re-written, good news for publisher. Dell DJ Ditty has gone the Dodo Bird Way
Its small, light, comes with a screen and a FM radio. It has more feature than Apple’s shuffle but then it failed to do what it is suppose to do – take the world by storm. Dell has officially announce the end of Dell DJ Ditty.
The DJ Ditty plays MP3, WAV, and WMA music files, as well as Audible-formatted audio books, if you compare the features, Dell beats Apple flat. I think Microsoft Zune too would face the same fate, unless it has millions of features that no one can resist. For example a TV receiver and who knows – bluetooh file sharing capability.
Dell removed DJ Ditty from its Web site on August 17, said Dell spokesman Venancio Figueroa. “We want to tighten our consumer product focus and we believe we can do that with PCs , TVs, and printers,” he said.
