Mobile companies develop new, faster 4G technology

Here is something new or shall I say old:

Global mobile operators and device makers are betting that the next level of transmission technology will ramp up mobile phone usage in a way that third-generation technology has so far failed to do.

What is installed for 4G?
- get through personal computers with high-speed broadband connections.
- allow two-way communication in voice, video and data on a scale that was previously impossible
- 4G is to deliver high-speed broadband for data- and visual- centric information. Everything before 4G is voice-centric

Come on, why in the world do I need 3G? let alone 4G? I’m not saying video call is not the future, its just that I don’t see a need for it. I believe network operators and mobile phone companies is still searching for the golden area where the introduction of sms brought a sudden growth in sales and revenue. Global mobile operators and device makers should come up with something attractive, something solid.
