Wal-Mart leaks Zune price — $284?

With all the hype in the soon to be launch Microsoft Zune, I think the guys in Wal-Mart tries to capture some free attention from the blogging world – by accidentally releasing the yet to be announce price tag for Microsoft Zune. I’m not sure if they done that on purpose or its an act of mistake – but one thing for sure, its gonna reflect bad on Wal-Mart on the long run.

Would be buyers now has a $284 price tag from Wal-Mart imprint into their mind, and they’ll compare the $284 price with other stores. End of the day, its gonna be $284 vs “cheaper than $284″. Most of these people won’t even bother checking the price. With Apple fighting back by lowering the ipod price and up the spec, $284 is alot when you compare it with Apple’s ipod. Microsoft – please lower the price and hire some real designers.
