Google Buys YouTube

Its official now that Google has accquire YouTube. Now I wonder what has Google install for their own Google Video? YouTube is a success because there is so many illegal videos, unlike those from MSN, Yahoo and Google Video, YouTube has a library of pirated video clips and a soon to be launch lawsuits. YouTube needs to sort things out and remove those illegal videos before they turn into the Napster of yesteryears.

Guess what would be the name? But then there won’t be changes right? since Google said they wanted to preserve their overall structure and brand as independent as possible. Then again, this might change within a year or two and below are some examples:

Google Tube
Google Videos
Googe Tube
or any other ?

Google announced today that it has agreed to acquire YouTube, the consumer media company for people to watch and share original videos through a Web experience, for $1.65 billion in a stock-for-stock transaction. Following the acquisition, YouTube will operate independently to preserve its successful brand and passionate community.
