Beta mascherine di Blogger

30 ottobre 2006 · Archiviato sotto Uncategorized

I’ve done that, but what i’m afraid is what if they decided to stop people from using the classic template? and force everyone to migrate to the new system… I hope that I can get help so that if they eventually require everyone to migrate, at least we still have alternative rather than their plain simple looking template.

the classic template is very simple to re-code but the new template is for noobs, people with totally no html/css knowledge… i hate those widgets…

Yeah, it’s true. Though it takes time to learn something new, sometime, I think whether it’s worthy. Personally, I think that blogger shouldn’t adopt widgets. Well, in addition, if someone else make a sort of a parser, which converts class to beta or vice versa, it might be more helpful in comparison to posting templates for beta.

Good luck with figuring out the K2 for Beta. I’ve been looking for templates for a new blog on Beta for weeks, but have my heart set on K2. Good luck!

Hi GeckoFly, I’d been using the bogger-template called Kubrick for a long time !! I love it very much…thx for your provision!

I have booted the Kubrick template to blogger beta..and I also make a little modification for me…but it is still a Kubrick-based template for blogger beta ^^
    It looks like this http://chenkaie.blogspot.com/index.html
    and I also add a little too,like
    1. Random Rotating Banner Hack
    2. Peek-A-Boo view of posts in label/archive pages
    3. Expandable posts with Peekaboo view (blogger beta)
    4. show profile photo on Comment

there seems to be some Chinese in the blog, just ignore it…^_^ (I come from Taiwan!!) but the interface is still english-based!! so I think u could surf my blog without any problem !!

finally, if u like it..I am very glad to release the code to u ^^ of course, it depends on whether u like the style I re-coded..

    try to using

Blogger Beta is a great step ahead, but how long must we wait for the features too insert into converted Blogger-FTP-Blogs, like my.

I took my blog from classic to beta too but won’t let them fully wipe out my template so that I can “customize with a box of crayons.” I almost fell for it and then realized I could never go back if I did.
But I made a new blog, as a test. Now when you make a new blog, you have no choice — you have to go into the new widgets template. And I hate it. I can’t get the photos to load in the sidebar and there’s not an easy way to tinker with the HTML. I’m not a coder or anything but I know a little bit and it frustrates me that I can’t function in beta.

Oh but Gecko - I did convert my template on my real (old) blog to one of your templates…can’t remember the name, maybe Simple?

Check it out and let me know what you think! Life’s Short
