I only let Windows play some error-sounds. No login sounds, they only add to my loadtime. Microsoft should fire the person who came up with the idea for a million dollar sound. Total waste of money. I'd rather not be clubbed over the head with a dramatic chime everytime I perform the slightest task. I know what I did because <i>I</i> did it. ;) Nevertheless it's interesting to <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=05gheT0hKSs" rel="nofollow">compare </a> the sound effects in XP to the revamped ones in Vista.
