Google Print Ads

Google Adword print ad program is available to all publisher from today onwards. Google has 28 magazine ad space up for grab, I’m not so sure how it works but I like the whole idea, just imagine that a Korea or Japanese company selling samurai sword wants to penetrate the American market, advertising in those magazine won’t be a problem now.
Well I can see a huge Future for Google Adwords system, possibly everything that is readable has an advertorial on it. Imagine your T shirt with ads. Are we there yet?
Google … is rolling out its most ambitious print advertising initiative yet, an online marketplace that will let advertisers place bids on space in more than 50 major newspapers across the U.S. The search giant will launch an alpha test of Google Print Ads this week.

Drop Spots and Google Maps

This is awesome, I really need to try this out, it is like going back to those childhood years. Brijetta Hall, Dan Phiffer and Ed Purve are bringing treasure hunting back to adulthood. With Drop Spots, what you need to do is simply hide a gift and post it online, it could be a map or puzzle to an even greater gifts. This is like finding easter eggs both in the real world and digital world.
Drop Spots is a simple but cool social game; people hide little gifts in public (yet semi-hidden) places, share the location via Google Maps, and then a lucky finder can grab the gift – and is encouraged to hide their own surprise with Drop Spots.
