Steve Wozniak was a maths genius, one of the best among the best during his university years. Steve Jobs has no knowledge in building a computers. He is a visionary, someone that sees the future and lead a team of engineer to build that dream. I love your iPod Steve Jobs.
Another misconception that bothered him was the idea that he and Steve Jobs had designed the Apple I and the Apple II together. The sole designer of both those computers was Steve Wozniak. – Valleymag

Woz was able to do great things in the culture of the 1970s, which owing to the influence of hippiedom lowered the glamor and authority of corporate executives just enough to give Woz some freedom.
