Mozilla made millions of dollars through their browser when people search Google with Firefox, indirectly Google is supporting the Mozilla foundation. Google is even paying bloggers when they manage to convince one of their readers to download Firefox when they click on the referral button by Google, all paid by Google.

The funny part is, Adblock Plus addon for Firefox is a highly recommended plugin for Firefox user. Blocking ads that is helping you to make money? This is weird.

Well, Mozilla has always said that the user comes first for them and they have shown commitment to this. Adblock Plus is good for the users even though it might mean less money.

It’s all about freedom –as in beer– and users choosing.

And remember: Adblock Plus only blocks ads you want to block ^_^
