Dell Love Linux

Dell Inc. will start offering the Linux operating system pre-installed on its PCs and notebooks in response to customer demand, the company said Wednesday. Linux is a free Operating System which is believed to be much more stable, this would be seen as a big blow to Microsoft’s latest operating system - Windows Vista.

Pre-install Linux is equivalent to how vendor and manufacture bundle their PCs and Laptops with FreeDOS, making their units way much more cheaper than those pre-installed Windows units. I have friends that actually buy these pre-installed Linux laptop (not a Dell) and once they get hold of their Laptop, they’ll be happily installing a pirated Windows. Microsoft is in a dilemma now, either they cut the price of each OS or face the consequences.

The truth about making real money online? Well, I hate to do this but we have to admit that there are tons of articles on how to make money online but can they really be trusted? Come to think about it, these website promise us the idea of making tons of money without even taking out a single dime. The truth is, don’t trust them blindly! One of the reason being that making money online is not as easy as it seems, I know friends of mine that actually pay to attend some classes on how to make money when he himself has no idea what is the difference between CSS and Html, sad but true.

Lesson number one, take the initiative to learn things yourself, explore on how to design a simple web page and ways to promote your own blog or website, don’t take things for granted. Try it out first with those free hosting from Google or Yahoo, it is a good place to practice on how to make money. Learning the hard way is the best way, the key to success is failure. If you happen to invest a small sum of money for domain names and hosting and yet to recover the cost, don’t give up, try harder! Remember, no pain no gain. There is no such thing as making money online without taking out a single cent, nothing is free and don’t be afraid to invest a small sum of money for a domain name and hosting plan, I was afraid then but now come to think of it I am glad that I’ve made the right choice.

Microsoft releases "Deepfish" browser for Windows Mobile

I have a Dell Axim X51v PDA and it runs on Windows Mobile 5, it is a great PDA with good function but the sad things about it is the PDA browser, the Pocket IE sucks, so bad to the extend that it is pointless to even include it in the PDA. Opera Mobile seems to be light years ahead of what Microsoft Pocket IE, but not for long. Deepfish from Microsoft is the next generation browser for Windows Mobile 5 and above, one of the unique feature is the zoom in view, something like what Apple’s iPhone offering where it render the entire page and you have the ability to zoom into certain section you highlighted. So much for innovation, another reason why Microsoft sucks and a solid proof again that Microsoft is a copycat.

World's longest bus

This is the world’s longest bus, and the best part is it only works in cities without corners or the other way would be to drive from one block to another without turning. This 83 foot long bus has a capacity of 300 people and is divided into 3 compartments, due to this its speed limit is up to 51mph max, probably to avoid any unwanted incident, but then with that kind of speed this bus would cause traffic jam that might clog up the city, one of the reason being that it is almost impossible to over take the bus.

The price? USD250,000 and this is not cheap at all, considering the fact that it is a China made bus.
