Is that a real Samsung LCD monitor?

It used to be Sony monitor that the entire world is eying but I guess time changes, Samsung is now known as the king of monitors and with their almost unlimited budget in R&D, Sony has a long way to catch up, in fact from what I’ve read, Sony is collaborating with Samsung for certain models.
One of the many problem with being big is that cost would eventually come into question, for example Samsung needs to ensure the quality it promise and the need to advertise, and unlike some other unknown LCD manufacture in Taiwan and China, these manufacture produce LCD panels at a way much cheaper rate than Samsung. This is where Samsung comes in, buying up LCD panels from them and slap their name on it… I guess that explain why my Samsung monitor died after less than a year.
The Indian Superman Movie
Really hilarious, I can’t say for sure if any royalty fees is paid for the rights, but this could possible be the reason not to copy movies from Hollywood. The Indian superman combo Spiderwoman is a good example of what not to shoot, same goes with Hong Kong movies and many other copycats. Anyway, does the Spiderwoman comic hero exist?

Harvard University Degree for Bill Gates
The world’s richest man - Bill Gates finally has got his degree from Harvard University, the stories goes that he drop out of Harvard University after studying there for 2 years, reason being that he wants to concentrate on Microsoft, a very smart move indeed but Scott McNealy, Sun Microsystems’ ex-chairman and president said that if Bill Gates stayed in University, he would not have got himself into all those lawsuit because in economics 101, young Bill Gates wuld have learned what a monopoly is.
Harvard University has announced that Bill Gates will be the principal speaker at the commencement ceremony later this year - 30 years after starting an undergraduate degree that he never completed.
New Yahoo Widget

The all new Yahoo Widget with better engine and widget is here, basically what they do was to create some sort of replacement bar for Windows Vista’s widget bar, probably Yahoo find that Microsoft is again bullying and killing off competitor. Well, that’s competition right?
Anyway, the new engine is way much lighter than the previous version 3 and uses up 40% less memory, which is something good for laptop user. Another good news is, it comes with both support for PC and a Mac, this is how it should be, big corporate should create softwares for mac, especially Linux. Like all good things, I believe Yahoo Widget would somehow end up like Netscape, crushed by Microsoft. The only way for them to survive is to innovate, create an online version of Yahoo Widget, allow bloggers the ability to insert the code into their blog.
Some information: Yahoo Widgets, previously called Konfabulator, was acquired by Yahoo in July 2005.
Laptops Set to Outsell Desktops

According to analysis, by the year 2011 laptops would outsell desktop as these mobile machines become cheaper, lighter and quicker. As for the year 2006, 140 million desktop PCs were shipped compare to only 82 million laptops.
They way I look at it, AMD has alot of research and development to do, the guys at AMD needs to build cheaper and more energy efficient processor. As for me, I just got my very first laptop 2 months ago and it is an Acer, so far so good. Its kind of weird using a laptop for the first time but eventually I got used to it. Probably I would get myself an Apple laptop when I graduate, for the fun of it.
And you know what, they should make a 19 inch laptop.
