China could beat America to the moon race

With it growing economic and a weakening US dollar and economy, China is likely to beat the US in the moon race when President Bush told the entire nation that America would land again on the moon. Some of the key points are:

  • China has about 200,000 people working on its space program, about three times the number in the United States
  • China’s economic prowess is about twice that of America’s in the early 1960s
  • It would be nice if this healthy moon race would somehow benefits he entire human race, but we all knows that America is eye China’s space program with fear, fear that China’s space program might evolve into a space war program that will change the world’s super power in the future.

    Apple mocking Windows Vista

You know what, this advertisement is so true when it says “The Wow starts 5 years ago.” Come to think of it and as an occasional Apple Mac user, mac is way much better than Windows Vista, graphically and reliability - no doubt about that. I’ve tried executing a 300MB photoshop file and my PC seems to crash occasionally while executing the same file on a mac do not seems to give me any problems. I would say mac is way much better than Windows XP but I’m not so sure about Vista since I’ve yet to install it on my system.

After 15 years of toying with Windows, come to think of it, maybe I should get a mac, probably mac mini and give it a try. I might fall in love with it… then again maybe not since I love to explore different softwares. Who knows… maybe.

    Scientists threatened for ‘climate denial’.

    Scientists threatened for 'climate denial'.

Some say global warming is a lie, created by the first world so that progress of the third world could be stalled, which is something I find hard to believe. Come to think of it, global warming is as real as it is. Just take a look around and see what used to be there and what is not. Let us build a better future for our children’s children. Spend wisely and consume what you need only.

Scientists who questioned mankind’s impact on climate change have received death threats and claim to have been shunned by the scientific community.

They say the debate on global warming has been “hijacked” by a powerful alliance of politicians, scientists and environmentalists who have stifled all questioning about the true environmental impact of carbon dioxide emissions.

SanDisk intros 2.5-inch 32GB SSD hard drive

We all knows that flash drive would eventually replace the current hard drive, the evolution process probably would be around next year and SanDisk would love to lead the revolution with the introduction of a 32GB SSD SATA 5000 2.5-inch for laptop.

We all know that flash drive is way much faster that a typical hard disk and consume a mere 0.9 watt of electricity, which is almost half of what hard disk is consuming. What is the catch? With a price tag of $350, SanDisk has a long way before the would replace Seagate as the world’s biggest hard disk producer.

Viacom to sue Google and YouTube for USD1BillionThe owner of MTV Networks decided to sue Google and YouTube for copyright violation, this would be an interesting court case and the out come would definitely change the way people share videos online. I still couldn’t figure it out why would Google buy YouTube when they know this sort of things would come, let YouTbe battle the court case and then bail them out like what happen to napster, provided the price is right.

Viacom’s claim says almost 160,000 unauthorized snippets of Viacom shows have been viewed more than 1.5 billion times on YouTube. Viacom also owns Paramount Pictures movie studios and the Nickelodeon cable network.

Well, not entirely true. I did toy around with mac for a while but went back to a PC, not because a PC is better in term of stability and security, it is because the PC has all the softwares and games I wanted. Some guy wrote a short article on why mac is no difference from a PC… judge for yourself - Read the Article. You know what, he is right about the “not shutting their mouth” part, if you bad mouth a mac user, then be prepare to be lecturED.

Now you see, now you don’t. The commissar of water transport disappears but Joseph Stalin remains, it was believed that The commissar had been shot to death.

In 2003, the Los Angeles Times fired photographer Brian Walski after he had combined elements of two photographs into one, apparently in order to provide more drama. The manipulated photo blends the left side of one photo and the right side of the other.
