This is true and I read it myself in the local papers, look at the size of that wild boar, it is as big as a rhinoceros and according to source, the 11-year-old Alabama boy used a pistol to kill a wild hog his father says weighed a staggering 1,051 pounds and measured 9-feet-4 from the tip of its snout to the base of its tail.
The boy said he shot the huge animal eight times with a .50- caliber revolver, you know, I find it kind of cruel to kill innocent animals just for fun, which reminds me of the animal rights advertisement.

May 19th, 2008I pig can get that big, if you raise it, which is exactly what happened here. 8 shots is a little excessive, but even a large revolver can have problems with taking down a large animal with one shot. This is real for the un-believers.

June 3rd, 2009First of all, Im a farmer and a boar hunter… Its easily possible for pigs to get that big, just not in the wild. My neighbor raises domesticated hogs and they get up to 900 usually over 1000 pounds with no problem. This “boar” has to be partially domesticated… raised up and turned loose in the woods. Look it up, theres hogs bigger than this at fairgrounds and livestock auctions. An actual wild boar, usually barely makes it to 3-400lbs and even that is pushing it.. 8 shots, Id believe that too, how many 1000lb animals have yall shot with a pistol? Especially at 8 years old. Get your facts before you talk shit, just for some advice!
