Oscar Pistorius de Agent van het Blad

Genoemd geworden Agent van het Blad, is Oscar Pistorius een Zuidafrikaanse agent Paralympic, zonder zijn lagere benen, kan gegeven hij concurreren en uit het grootste deel van de bekwame lichaamsatletiek in werking stellen en onlangs het groene licht om met regelmatige atleten te concurreren, en hopelijk volgende Olympics van Peking.

Nochtans, heeft de Internationale Vereniging van de Federatie van de Atletiek (IAAF) ernstige zorgen dat zijn kunstmatige benen hem een oneerlijk voordeel eigenlijk zouden kunnen geven. Oneerlijk voordeel? Welk oneerlijk voordeel? Als ik met of zonder mijn benen moest lopen, zou hij me vrijwel bij elk ras slaan. Ik geloof het geestelijke persoon zal dat kwesties en niet de kunstmatige benen is.

Sony PS2 en Witte Kerstmis

It may be the last generation console, but PlayStation still proves to be very popular among gamers. This Christmas, Sony is launching a new white PlayStation 2 instead of the conventional black.

The PS2 has an installed base of more than 117 million worldwide with 44 million in North America alone. A further 10 million PlayStation 2 units are expected to be sold worldwide by the end of March 2008.

With such a huge base of gamers and its vast collection of games title, the PlayStation 2 is indeed a cash cow for Sony, it really makes me wonder why would a person choose PS2 instead of Nintendo Wii? It may be the number of games title available for PS2 or is it the mindset that was so clearly imprint in each and everyone of us that PlayStation is the sole gaming console?

Microsoft Vista SP1 beta in Bittorrent

I Guess it is official now, Engadget reported that Microsoft is shooting the beta to between 10,000 - 15,000 people in September, they might and should provide a torrent download.

I have been waiting for the service pack for quite sometime now, one of the many reason why I refuse to upgrade from XP to Vista is the stability, I guess it is time to upgrade. Anyone over here with some really bad experience with Windows Vista? Especially those that runs Vista on their Laptop?

World’s Richest Dog

Gothamist has an interesting article on the world’s richest dog, it appears that the dog owner pass down a portion of her fortune to her beloved dog. In addition to the $12 million trust, when Trouble dies, she’ll be buried next to her former owner in the family mausoleum.

Some of the other recipients of monies from the estate include: $10 million for her brother Alvin Rosenthal (who is also caring for the dog); $100,000 for her chauffeur; $5 million for two of her grandchildren; $0 for her other two grandchildren.

Can you imagine the amount of money the dog has? The dog is richer than me and I doubt I’ll ever make that much in my entire life time.
