Americans giving up friends, sex for Web life

A survey asked 1,011 American adults how long they would feel OK without going on the Web, to which 15 percent said a just a day or less, 21 percent said a couple of days and another 19 percent said a few days. People told us how anxious, isolated and bored they felt when they are forced off line,” said Ann Mack, director of trend spotting at JWT.

UK police using hovering camera for surveillance

When they say big brother is watching, they really mean it, it appears that UK police are using some new form of device that hovers about 350ft from the ground as a flying surveillance camera - in the name of making a place safer, but the real question is to what extend are we sacrificing our privacy?
Aircraft like this is going to save allot of lives and enable military and law enforcement to have invaluable eyes they didn’t have before. This technology is amazing and will continue to improve with their camera’s and ability to get to places that would put lives in danger.
