Someone recently asked me how to retrieve their spouse’s Hotmail password, knowing that this is almost impossible, I reluctantly browse through the net for an answer; I realized that internet is flooded with million and millions of these so called hacking Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo mail tutorial scams. Why is it a scam?

The Truth

The truth is, these scams works by fooling you into giving out your own password blindly, one of the requirement set out by these hackers is the sending of your own user name and password to an account that the scammer owns. Usually it has a very suspicious name to it, for example recoverpassword@hotmail.com (example) or adminpasswordrecovery@yahoo.com (example). How does it work?

These hackers claimed that there is a bug in the Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo mail system and by emailing your user name, your password and your spouse’s /friend’s /enemy’s email address to the designated email address, a reply together with the requested password would arrive in your inbox within a day or two. Truth is, you’ve been conned into giving out your password, thus allowing the hacker unrestricted access into your email account.

The bottom line is, never reveal your password to a stranger, not even Microsoft’s hotmail team members, and your password can be retrieved with the ‘lost password’ feature in hotmail or any other email system.

Is there another way, say some soft of Brute Force hacking software?

You’ve been warned again, there are no such things as Brute Force hacking for emails. Brute Force hacking doesn’t work in any internet application, it’s like flooding the server with million of request per minute, common sense would tell you that if a server spot a DOS attack, it would block the IP address immediately, as a general rule of thumb, NEVER do anything a “hacker” tells you to do.

Breaking into an email account with known exploit is possible, but the only problem is, the engineers would have patched up the hole within hours when a bug is found. On top of that, exploiting a bug in an email system requires an in depth knowledge in computing, what are your chances of finding one and go about hacking it?

How to Recover Your Windows XP and Vista User Login Password

Please take note that this article is meant for those that lost their Windows user login password, it is illegal to perform this task on another person’s computer without their knowledge. Please use the following method wisely.

The tutorials are fairly simply, it does not require an intensive knowledge in computing to go about recovering your lost password.

Method 01 - Ophcrack is a Windows User Login Password Cracker

The next scenario: What if you lost your Bios password and you’re not able to change the boot up sequence from Harddisk to CD-Rom, thus rendering LiveCD feature useless. Fear not, all Windows comes with the Administrator function, the question is, how do we bring up the administrator login screen?

Simple, hit ‘Ctrl’ + ‘Alt’ + ‘Del’ to bring up the alternative login screen, a new dialog box would popup, what you need to do is key in the user name as ‘administrator’, leave the password field empty and hit ‘enter’. Volla, you’re log into the default administrator user account. Run ophcrack to retrieve your forgotten Windows Login password.

Method 03 - Repair Windows

40 Lashes for Naming a Teddy Bear “Mohammed”

Here we go again, a British primary school teacher has been arrested in Sudan for allowing her class of 7-year olds name a teddy bear ‘Mohammed’. Gillian Gibbons, a British citizen had since been charged with “blasphemy,” an offence he said was punishable with up to three months in prison and a fine.

The name ‘Mohammed’ is sacred to Islamic philosophy, the name Mohammed is associated with ‘Nabi Mohammed’, the founder or massager of Islam.

Based on my understanding, it was the children that named the teddy bear ‘Mohammed’, not Gillian Gibbons. Anyway, what is wrong with naming a teddy bear ‘Mohammed’? We’ve seen westerners naming their children ‘Christ’, some goes to the extend of burning a bible, same thing happens in Asia, what is wrong with that? Religion should be a separate entity from the state, if the church wants to sue them for burning a bible, by all means go ahead, if the Islam scholars wants to sue Gillian Gibbons, by all means go ahead, but the government should not get involved.
