How to Download Books From Google

Up until now, there is no possible way of downloading ebooks from Google Books, Google only allows people to read the out-of-copyright books online (and only snippets of copyrighted works). The Inferno of Dante Alighieri By Dante Alighieri, John Dayman is an example of out-of-copyright books that can be downloaded online for free.

Please note that the copyrighted ebooks from Google Books can never be downloaded for free, personally I believe Google is slowly moving into the affiliate market in the near future and this could be the first step towards it. I have to admit that I bought a few book after going through Google Books and Google would be crazy not to make some money out of it.

On a lighter note, here are two popular online ebook companies, perfectly legal and free – Gutenberg and Scribd (the best).

    You say:
    <>

Please change that part of your post because it’s completely inaccurate. Google doesn’t make money from those links.

“Google Book Search offers links to booksellers from whom you can buy the books you find. In the case of out of print books, the links go to used bookstores. Booksellers don’t pay us to include their links, and we don’t make money when you buy books from them.”

Hi and thanks for this information. People outside of the USA will not be able to download many books on google books because they are limited to people with a US IP only. So you either need to get a friend in the US to download them or use a proxy changer/IP changer. You can find free US proxies on several websites if you look for them but be aware that some are monitored – one US proxy kept switching my downloads off so I found a different one which allowed me to download a couple of 19th century books I needed.

This article is helpful. I tried and it works perfectly. Tips : Google limits the number of pages you can download, in case you have not downloaded the whole book, reset your ip and try to get the rest
