Free Tibet Movement and the Beijing Olympics 2008

I don’t normally post articles that touches on social-politics but felt strongly about the free Tibet issue, which has caught the world’s attention due to the Beijing Olympics 2008.
From a personal point of view, I believe Tibet should be partially free, not fully, and I am strongly against China’s policy of whipping off Tibetans’ culture and replace it with the Chinese culture. A person that believes in whipping off another person’s culture should walk the talk and eat a single type of food through out their entire life, because that is what mono-culture about and the easiest way to understand the downside of mono-culture is non other than food. Yes, same food through out their entire life.
Now, what annoy me about the Free Tibet movement are the talks on Human Rights by westerners, the American, Australians, and Canadians are product of colonization, their ancestors murdered the natives and rob them of their land, literally wipe them off from the world.
The Chinese media in China says: “These products of colonization should pack their bags and go back to Europe before they talk about the Chinese colonizing Tibet.”
I say, that’s arrogant. Both the Chinese, Americans, Australians, Canadians and many more are wrong, nobody is perfect, but it is hard for a thief to trial a thief for stealing something right?
Tibet will be Tibet, it should be partially free - politically, but not military and economically. Tibet has so much to lose if it breaks free from China, well, at least that is my point of view, and not everyone shares that.
Should we close an eye on this whole Tibet issue? I say, if the Americans and Australians and many more believes in the idea of an independent Tibet because the people of Tibet wants to be free, then they should leave Iraq, because I doubt the Iraqi wants them to be there, isn’t democracy beautiful? It is only beautiful if everyone listen to you.

Joel Comm AdSense Secrets 4.0 Review

According to his website, it cost only $9.95 for the latest edition of Adsense Secrets, well, what is the catch? In his video, it says nothing about the trojan horse awaits you. Here is what Darren Rowse from Problogger has to say:
Please do read the sales copy and understand that there’s a membership program/monthly report with this that costs $29.95 a month which you are subscribed to when you sign up for this. You can unsubscribe at any time if you don’t want to be in it. I’m a little surprised and disappointed to see Joel doing this to be honest but it is mentioned in the sales page (see the ‘free’ bonuses).
I have to say, I almost fall for it until I read the review in Problogger.com and glad that I did, isn’t this unethical? On top of that, Darren says the book is good for new comers, and some of the technique mentions in the book are somewhat against Google TOC.
From the comments I read in various blogs, generally the reviews are good, I’ll get one copy soon and I heard Joel has made a public apology for the ‘hidden fees’, he goes to the extend of amending the options, guess I’ll my copy of the book without the monthly $30 newsletter subscription.

One Column Tiny Wordpress Theme

Tiny is a minimalist one column Wordpress theme, the Wordpress theme is ideal for bloggers that maintain a blogs as a personal diary. It was designed with simplicity in mind and uses the Ariel font for its header title, most importantly, it is design to bring back the good old Wordpress 2.0 user interface.
The Photoshop file for the header is included in the download. Don’t know how to use Photoshop or don’t own it? No promises, but I can edit the header for you and give it your site name and slogan.
Tiny Wordpress theme is compatible with the following browsers:
- Internet Explorer 6 and 7
- Opera Browser
- Mozilla Firefox
- Apple’s Safari.
On that little fly icon and credit in the footer, go ahead and remove it if you wish to, I have no quarrel over it. Customize the theme as you like, after all, you paid for the domain name and hosting, right?
