Wordpress 2.5.1 and 2.5.2 Permalinks Errors

Having problem with Wordpress 2.5, Wordpress 2.5.1 and Wordpress 2.5.2 Permalinks? Apparently I am having the same problem and it can’t possibly be my hosting company because I’m running 3 other blogs with the same settings. I’ve come to conclusion that it must be Wordpress 2.5, and I was right when I decided to install Wordpress 2.3 and upgrade to 2.5, only then did the Permalinks works.

Not Found
The requested URL /about was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

For those that are having the same problem with Wordpress 2.5 permalinks issues and errors, I highly recommended that you download the legacy 2.0.11 and upgrade from there onwards.

July 22nd, 2008I had this same issue when I upgraded WPMU and it had to do with the .htaccess file, once I copied my old .htaccess file, it fixed the permalinks.
