Irishman Gerry Kennedy (Gerard Butler) and Holly (Hilary Swank), are a happily married couple living in Manhattan. The scene begins with both the couple arguing and after the much heated argument, they apologize to each other. Before he died, Gerry wrote Holly a series of letters that will guide her, not only through her grief, but in rediscovering herself. The movie is surprisingly funny, and sad in a way. O filme é surpreendentemente engraçado, e de uma forma triste. I think the Irish accent is kind of cute and not to mention the background music did bring the entire movie alive. Penso que o sotaque irlandês é tipo de cute e para não mencionar a música do fundo trouxe o filme inteiro vivo. I really like the music ‘Steve Earle - The Galway Gal’.
