You can do the same thing with Windows Sound Recorder if you know how. :-)

Open WSR. Record 60 seconds of nothing. Save. Open file you just saved. Copy. Paste. Now you have 120 seconds. Save. Open. Copy. Paste. Now you have 240 seconds. Continue for as long as you like, depending on how long you want to be able to record.

Now go to your Volume controls and select "Recording" settings. Figure out what slider corresponds (on your sound card) to incoming online audio. Enable it for recording. Keep the mixer open in case you need it below.

Browse to the streaming MP3 (or other audio) you want to record, but don't start it yet. First hit 'Record' in WSR, THEN start the streaming playback. Use the mixer to adjust sound levels. When satisfied, stop recording, slide the WSR slider back to the start, stop-and-rewind (so to speak) the online media. Then hit 'Record' in WSR, then start the streaming playback, and when it's over hit 'Stop' in WSR. You now have the option of File -> Save to save your recording.

I forget whether WSR allows you to cut out the blank "head" (before you started the stream) and "tail" (after the stream ended and you pressed "stop") from the recording you just made. If so, you can do it if you like, before you Save.

Enjoy.

Wow.. I thought there is no such software exist to download from Imeem. Sometimes, I just ask the person who upload the song to send it to my email.. (malay song that I can't find using google to download!)

btw, there is always place to download songs on online storage file such as Rapidshare, 4shared and many more... however, it still illegal to download copyright material!
