Free Unlimited Online Data Storage BackUp Server and Service

LiveDrive is a free unlimited online storage services, it allows you to upload gigabytes of files onto their storage server. Unlike other premium service that charge you a hefty price for every gigabyte, LiveDrive provides unlimited storage space in exchange for advertisement. The benefits of using an online storage are:

  • See the same files on all your PCs, the Web and your mobile.
  • Send and share your files with anyone.
  • As a backup copy in case your Laptop together with your removable hard disk is stolen.
  • Backup hotmail emails and backup gmail emails
  • Free online data backup software freeware

Unlike other online storage, Livedrive is the only online hard drive in the world that allows you to access your files even when your computer isn’t connected to the Internet. This is a revolutionary achievement for those worrying about unstable internet connection.

In addition, you’ll get an L: drive on your computer so you can access your online storage directly without having to use the web. This means you can just drag files onto your Livedrive like any normal USB drive. The best part though is that its fast…stupidly fast. As it has to be, because you aren’t going to use it otherwise. Livedrive is currently available in beta form, free of charge. We’d love to know what you think. If you sign up for a beta account now, you’ll be able to keep your account when we go live in early 2009.

    Still a lot of flaws.

The online files show up as size zero bytes. *Note of the programs recognize a zero byte file as valid.
    * You cannot tell if the mapped drive has actually copied the file by looking at it. Again the result of the zero byte file size.
    * The mapped drive does not work like a USB drive. A pop up appears everything you try to open a file from the online drive.

The unlimited storage is good but it is painful to check that it actually made the copy
