How to remove, disable, and block advertisement in Yahoo Messenger 8 and 9? I can accept the fact that both YM and MSN comes with ads, but there is a limit to it. It is really annoying when the ads is animated, to a certain extend some even pop-out when you accidentally mouse over the ad.

• Close Yahoo Messenger.
• Download the .bat file (no virus, tested).
• Double click on it.

Also, it doesn’t actually “patch” Yahoo, all it does is add some registry entries which disables the ads and enables multi-messenger for Yahoo Messenger!
