Looking for Windows 7 All PlusPatch 10 By Orbit30? Or Microsoft Windows Vista Developer Activation 2.0 via torrent? Do you know that Office Genuine Advantage Validation for Office 2007 and Windows Genuine Advantage Validation crack for XP and Vista download via torrent are usually infected with virus, trojan, and many more malware?
Based on my own past experience, the minute I patch my Windows, things went haywire, my computer started to lag and the internet bandwidth consumption increases by tenfold, possibly due to the crack. My advice is, better to have the annoying blue star bugging you then to have a super slow computer with a super slow internet connection.
Let’s face it, there are no free lunch, same goes for software. The minute a genuine cracker cracks a software and release the patch to the world, hackers, virus writers and many more would hijack their ‘exe patch file’ and merge it with their malware, spyware, worm, trojan and virus.
Software such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Adobe Photoshop, and AntiVirus Software can be found in almost 90% of all computers, making these illegal cracks, keygen, patch, serial number generator and activation code generator the all time favorite among virus writer as the ultimate vehicle to spread malware.
A quick search on torrent for Office Genuine Advantage (OGA) and Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) patch reveals a host of virus, trojans and more ready to infect your computer and turns it into a zombie computer for mass emailing (spam).

Unlike Microsoft Office, there isn’t much of a choice apart from Windows. Linux is really user unfriendly, not to mention the lack of popular software such as photoshop, flash, office and more is the stumbling block. Mac on the other hand is expensive and is on a league on its own.
4 Free Alternatives to Microsoft Office
Avoid the hassle of cracking and the potential of being infected with a virus. Try these free alternatives to Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010. For offline task, OpenOffice is the best, whereas those that prefer online word processing should go for Google Docs.
Google Docs & Spreadsheets – Google Docs & Spreadsheets beta gracefully merges word processing, spreadsheets and basic presentations within an online service that lets you collaborate with other users.
ThinkFree Office 3 – ThinkFree Office 3 for the desktop is a decent, low-cost alternative to Microsoft Office. Its free online component has more storage and a few more extra features than competing, browser-based services.

OpenOffice 2 – OpenOffice 2, the freeware version of Sun Microsystems StarOffice 8, is a great deal for home and small-businesses users who don’t mind browsing online forums for tech support. But enterprise users are better served by StarOffice 8.
StarOffice 8 – StarOffice 8 is an impressive upgrade of Sun Microsystems’ bargain productivity suite. It’s a good buy for small and large businesses, but users needing an e-mail program and a photo editor should consider Corel WordPerfect Office 12 Small Business Edition.

June 27th, 2009Having one hack or crack torrent be infected is no proof all are. As always, do not get any software from an unreliable source unless you TEST it first on a non-critical system, one with AV, malware scanners, and a known set of running processes/services/etc BEFORE installing the patches so you know what’s been added.
I’m sorry you had problems but they are not in fact “usually infected”.
On the other hand, I agree if someone isn’t willing to pay for their software they should use free alternatives instead. Having to hack software, be weary of WGA updates, and even then being stuck with interoperability of files created in proprietary formats is just too much of a hassle to do the work most people use office suites for and I didn’t even mention the bloat of MS Office. (DOH!)

July 1st, 2009Just because you failed with the patch doesn’t mean you need to pretend to be righteous again and tell us how bad it is.
The fact is Linux has become a very real rival for windoze, and it is far from user unfriendly. Oh and…. it’s free.
you don’t have to crawl back for updates every day and keep paying for more broken software every 2 years either. All your office apps, web apps etc are included too.
Within the next 3 years legions of MS sheep will migrate to the more powerful and elegant Linux and save billions. But for now just keep pretending you didn’t try to escape i suppose. Bahhhhh!
