How to surf the internet anonymously? How to browse the world wide web using an anonymous proxy server service without ever being detected? Maybe you are a journalist and wants to send crucial information via email without being tracked by the government? Perhaps you are now residing in China, Iran or Saudi and accessing certain website is impossible without a proxy.

How To Surf The Web Using Anonymous Web Proxy Server

Try the following VPN client software, also known as Virtual Private Networking services. It is pretty much like a proxy but better. It allows secure anonymous web surfing, browsing and chatting.

UltraVPN is based on popular OpenVPN service, it has a really simple and easy to understand user interface. All you have to do it just download the UltraVPN client and register for the service. Once installed, right click the UltraVPN icon placed in the status bar and select connect. Volla, anonymous surfing and browsing is now possible.

PacketiX.NET is a really good VPN service and software, the only trouble is, it is a commercial software. It has a good tech support, bug free and always up to date. However, it comes with a small price, which defeats the purpose of browsing the web anonymously.

While there are many types of proxies out there, your article mentions Web Proxies in the title and VPN in the body.

Typically I avoid web proxies because they are not secure. This is one exception to that and it’s a combination web proxy and VPN, that MegaProxy. I tried them and was impressed by how it worked. It creates an SSH tunnel so you get the best of both worlds, a web proxy and a secure proxy.

Overall though I like true VPN or software based proxies like the ones you mentioned in the post. Some of the open source stuff can be hard to use, but it certainly does the job.
