Which is the best printer? Canon or Nikon camera? Don’t you find it hard to make decision when there are not many honest product reviews blogs? I used to subscribe Chip Magazine, back then, it was one of the best magazine with lots of product reviews and indepth evaluation. It wasn’t until they’ve decided to sell their soul to advertiser. I remember clearly there was an issue where they talked about hard disk and the winner for the best overall hard disk is WD, and coincidentally Western Digital has 10 pages of pull out advertisement.
Coincident? I don’t think so. That was before the age of blogs, where we have to reply on magazine editors for product reviews. The birth of blogging changed the way we look at products, consumer no longer trust all the junks journal in a magazine. As for me, I prefer personal reviews over magazine reviews, more often than not, these bloggers tend to say what they felt, not what they are told.
TestFreaks is a consumer product review website, everyone has a say, no comments are edited. In short, you get honest reviews. Currently am looking into buying a laser printer, am torn between the hp p1006 and hp 1515.
