How To Set Up VPN For Windows? Below is a tutorial on how to configure your Windows XP, Vista, and 7 for VPN connection?
If you happened to be unsure of which is the best VPN, try ItsHidden, its one of my favorite VPN service and its free. Not exactly the best in term of features, but the software-less service is what I like about.

Go to ‘Control Panel’

Select ‘Network Connections’

Click on ‘Create New Connections’

Choose “Connect to the network at my workplace”

Choose “Virtual Private Network connection”

Enter the name of the VPN connection you’re using, in my case, am using “ItsHidden”

Depending on your VPN’s service and requirement, my ‘ItsHidden’ service provider’s requirement is “Do not dial the initial connection”

Depending on your VPN provider, enter the VPN server host name, Mine is “vpn.itshidden.com”

Check “Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop” if desired

Click on the VPN icon on your desktop, enter your user name and password
