I use the computer every single day, and my desktop is filled with icons. Re-arranging them doesn’t make much difference because within a month of two it is back to square one, until I discovered Fence.

StarDock Fence is a free program from StarDock, a well known company with lots of tools to re-dress your dull Windows. As shown in the screenshot above, my desktop now comes with two new ‘projects’ folder or fences. This is where I place all of my icons or files into two virtual folders.

To add files to your Fences, all you have to do is drag and drop files on to one of your Fences. It takes up little space and the best part is the scrolling feature. Now you can arrange your desktop icon with ease.
