Check you laptop or notebook for the S-Video port, normally it is the 7-pin mini-DIN socket, sometimes it can be the 4 pin version, double check!

Get a S-Video cable, connect it to from your laptop’s S-Video port to the TV

Connect Laptop Computer To TV With S-Video, DVI And HDMI
Right click on your ‘Desktop’ –> Select ‘Properties’ –> Select the ‘Settings’ tab (Step 1) –> Click on the ‘Advanced’ button (Step 2) –> A new window will appear, select the ‘Monitor’ tab (Step 3) –> In the drop down list, choose ‘Generic Television’ (Step 4) and hit ‘OK’. Restart your computer if it doesn’t work.

Note: VGA, HDMI and DVI gives better quality, S-Video is an outdated technology.
