Which website provides free online photo editing service? Where to edit image online? Photoshop is a noun, however, due to its popularity, it has become a verb. Nobody says you’ve digitally manipulate the image, it is always ‘The image was photoshopped!’
Unlike Google, Adobe Photoshop is not free. GIMP on the other hand is free, but not as user friendly as Photoshop. In comes Splashup, also known as Fauxto, it is a powerful online image editing tool and it is free! It’s easy to use, works in real-time and allows you to edit many images at once. Splashup runs in all browsers, integrates seamlessly with top photo-sharing sites, and even has its own file format so you can save your work in progress.
As seen in the screenshot above, it feels like Photoshop, almost. Here are the pro:

If I own a netbook with 3G internet connection, this is the software. Sadly, I don’t. Splashup is still an amazing piece of software, there are plenty of room for improvement, the only trouble is, it is too complicated for senior citizens and not powerful enough for power users. Caught in between, neither here nor there.
