One guy even says to take the unlocked hdd out of the working computer when you're setting up a HDD ATA password (in bios) and then replace it with the locked one. The bios will not realize that it's the locked one and will let to change the password. There is one issue though - you could frie both the motherboard and the hdd. So I don't know...
