Kaspersky Rescue Disk is a bootable DOS Based Antivirus, the whole point of having a bootable antivirus or also known as a rescue disk is to remove viruses from an unbootable computer due to viral infection. There are two way to create a rescue disk. Start Rescue Disk creation with the built in wizard as shown in the image below:
- Open the main application window of Kaspersky Anti-Virus version 6.0
- Go to Service > Rescue Disk
- In the right part of the window click the Start wizard .. button
