- Open the Bookmarks Organizer
- Go to ‘Organize’ and then ‘New Bookmark’ and insert the following address:
- http://www.facebook.com/presence/popout.php
- Make sure you check the ‘load this bookmark in sidebar’
- When you’re done, click on the ‘bookmark’ in your ‘bookmark’.
- Facebook Chat application will appear on your sidebar instead on a new tab.

Hi.. Now facebook allows you to appear online for some users and offline for other set of users.
hello, can you please let me know, on chat list I see some friends that are having picture and name but no icon,( online or active but not available). what’s their status? Is their pc open or could it be because of connection through mobile? ( I did not visited their profile recently), thx
