To be able to accept donation from your readers or visitors due to your outstanding contribution, you may want to insert a ‘Donation’ button onto your website. Donors can make donation via the button, some of the features are:
- Accept donations made with credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal right away.
- No monthly, set-up, or cancellation fees. Only low transaction fees.
- Donors don’t need a PayPal account to make their donations.
Visit Paypal’s website to create a ‘Donation’ button. Gone as the good old days when creating a Paypal ‘Donate’ button requires some basic coding knowledge.
Based on my own past experience, a ‘Donate’ button is nothing more than an ornament, it does not generate much and occupies the precious space. It would be wiser to insert a tiny ads. Unless you have a pool of loyal readers, I strongly advice you against using this feature.
