Do note that G Data is a German security solution, it is a hardware based security. I was surprised by Kaspersky’s performance, and the sudden increase in reliability of Norton Antivirus. I am a Norton user for many years, and based on my own experience, the best ‘antivirus’ is still our browsing habit. They are:
- Avoid downloading unknown attachment
- Do not visit suspicious websites
- Do not install unknown applications such as screensavers or toolbars from unreliable source
- Avoid downloading ‘free’ pirated software from torrent
