If you’re having problem running certain software on Windows 7 due to compatibility issue, try VMLite. Windows 7 Professional and Ultimate comes with XP mode, meaning to say if compatibility issue arise, you can switch to XP mode. Problem is, this feature is not available for the Home Edition, for those who are into computer games, this is a big issue.
VMLite XP Mode offers similar functions as Microsoft XP Mode, but doesn’t require hardware virtualization. It allows you to run Windows XP at the same time from your desktop running on a different host operating system.
