One of the main problem or shall I say set back in Microsoft Outlook 2007 is the lack of advanced options when it comes to backing up and exporting your Outlook data. When I had a Dell Axim PDA, saving my data in Outlook is a troublesome, backing up is another. Same goes for my Microsoft OneNote.

How to make a full backup of your Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2009 data? If you’re looking for an alternative back up option, try Outlook Data Export (free add-on). It allows you to export mails, contacts, appointments, tasks, notes and settings to several file formats (MSG, unicode MSG, RTF, TXT, CSV, ICS, vCard, HTML, XML). You can export a complete folder with sub-folders or only selected items.

Hi,
there are also some Outlook Backup-tools available (which is a better solution for me because the backup is easy to create and I’m sure that everything is save).
Which tools are recommendable? Somebody wrote that Lookeen Backup Manager is a very good solution. Is that correct?
Hey,
yeah Lookeen Backup Manager is magnificent.
