Post it notes or also known as Sticky Notes is one of the much awaited feature in Windows 7, to run this tiny build in app, click on the ‘Windows Orb’ logo on the start menu, type sticky in the search box, and hit Enter.

The only trouble is, this feature comes with the following editions of Windows 7, they are:

Home Premium
Professional
Ultimate

Most laptop comes installed with Windows 7 Home Edition, therefore the virtual sticky notes feature is not available. One of my favorite sticky notes freeware is ATNotes (Free and Discontinued), it works pretty well in both Windows XP and Vista.
