ACDsee was good, now it is so bloated with unnecessary features where it is caught between being an image viewer and a photo editor, neither here nor there. Picasa by Google is good, somewhat too intelligent, not to mention the user interface is different, not to my liking.
If you’re looking for a free image viewer, FastStone Image Viewer is the software. It is a fast, stable, user-friendly image browser, converter and editor. It has a nice array of features that include image viewing, management, comparison, red-eye removal, emailing, resizing, cropping and color adjustments.
Currently I am using FastStone Image Viewer, just like ACDsee, it is packed with features minus the price tag. Why can’t image viewer simply be an image viewer? Why must be read mp3, avi and more? Since FastStone Image Viewer is free and easy to use, no complains then.
