You should probably be familiar by now the varieties of third party ink and system available in the market. Basically there are two types, they are remanufactured inks and continuous ink system. Depending on your ink consumption, both are equally good with excellent colour reproduction.

Recently, one of printer ran out of ink and coincidentally the warranty expired a few months ago. Being a person who prints alot, I’ve decided to try the continuous ink system (CIS) for my HP Color Printer. As shown in the image below, a feeder is attached to the printer ink cartridge from an external ink container, inks are continuously fed to the cartridge as you print. What makes this system amazing and economical is volume or bulk printing.
Does It Works On Phaser Printer Ink
I own a Xerox Phaser Printer, unfortunately the CIS kit is not available for that model or any other Xerox model. It is probably the way the printer is constructed where it is impossible to insert the feeder into the printer’s ink toner or cartridge. I suspect it is because Xerox uses a toner cartridge, it is after all a laser printer. Read more about the continuous ink system (CIS), also known as continuous flow system (CFS) at Wikipedia.
Individual remanufactured printer ink are good is you tend to print once in a while, whereas if you print often like me, a CIS is much more economical and practical.

Optimize Printing Quality – Reduce Ink Usage
You may not have heard about this but there are some useful software that helps you to reduce ink usage, based on experiments, some allows a maximum saving rate of 75% and if you happened to be printing alot, this converts into a massive amount of money in the long run.
