Google Input Method is a new software that translate one language to another offline, meaning to say there is no dependency on internet connection, everything is translated on the fly. As shown in the screenshot above, Google Transliteration IME is available for 14 different languages – Arabic, Bengali, Farsi (Persian), Greek, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Nepali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
Google Transliteration IME is an input method editor which allows users to enter text in one of the supported languages using a roman keyboard. Users can type a word the way it sounds using Latin characters and Google Transliteration IME will convert the word to its native script.
It is really a simple and straightforward tool, and in times when there are no substitute for a particular word when translated from english, you have the option of typing the other language via a virtual keyboard.
